My dog Gonzo - a german shepard- acts like a sissy some times. What can I do?

He is a boy dog and sometimes he yelps and acts sad. I want a man dog. I train him
to be tough like a dog should be. I give him rawhide and bones to chew on and he
still acts sissy. Any training lessons available to turn him into a man dog?

Every dog has different temperaments. Some are whiners and that may make them seem like sissies to you. You must be sure that when he's yelping it's not serious (he may be hurt or trying to say something) and that he may need to go to the vet. Otherwise, you can ignore his yelping or whining and maybe say, "no" sternly. That may show him that yelping (if it's for no reason) is useless and that way you won't be rewarding unwanted behaviour.
